Source Africa now co-located with ATF Expo 

Source Africa is the premier sourcing event on the African continent which is co-located with ATF Expo, the International Apparel, Textile and Footwear trade exhibition. The leading industry event of its kind that brings together suppliers, manufacturers, service providers and buyers all under one roof.

Organized by Messe Frankfurt South Africa, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt, the third largest trade fair company in the world.

Young Designer's comp

Young Designer's Competition

With trend and consumer demand dictating design for the apparel Retail sector, Source Africa 2018 has collaborated with WGSN - Global Trend Forecast experts, to find the best Young Designer's in the Western Cape. Using the A/W 2019 trend of "WorldHood", Young Designer's will design a single, retail ready, Women's Wear look. The best designs from each of the 6 accredited fashion colleges in the Western Cape will compete to be the Source Africa 2018 Young Designer winner.

Simon Eppel is a trade unionist and holds the position of Director of Research of the Southern African Labour Research Institute (SALRI). In this capacity, amongst other things he is involved in a host of policy-related and practical activities which aim to remediate and reshape challenges facing the domestic CTFL manufacturing industry.

In August 2014 Nerisha Jairaj joined SAFLEC as the New Executive Manager and was promoted to Executive Director in 2015.  Nerisha Jairaj now heads SAFLEC under the guidance of the SAFLEC Board of Directors.
Nerisha Jairaj comes with a BTech Honours in Business Administration and MBA Organisational Behaviour, Strategy and General (ongoing), 20 years of export, procurement and international trade experience.
